- Absolutely. Our Market Street and Valencia Street slice houses are built for it — fast counter service and hot Detroit-style squares by the slice.
- Which location should I order from?
- Whichever is closest! We have seven spots across San Francisco, Walnut Creek, and Santa Clara — browse all locations to find yours.
Menu & Dietary
- What is Detroit-style pizza?
- A rectangular, deep-pan pizza with a thick, airy, focaccia-like crust, cheese caramelized into a crispy "frico" edge, and tomato sauce striped on top after baking. Read our full Detroit-style pizza guide.
- What makes Joyride's crust special?
- Our focaccia-style crust is made with organic unbleached Central Valley Yecora Rojo flour, a California heritage wheat. We top it with mozzarella and Wisconsin-style brick cheese, then stripe house marinara over the top after baking.
- Does Joyride Pizza have gluten-free pizza?

- Where is Joyride Pizza located?
- Seven Bay Area spots: Yerba Buena (730 Howard St), Embarcadero (Pier 1), Market Street (685 Market St), Valencia Street (411 Valencia St), and the Salesforce Park beer garden (425 Mission St) in San Francisco, plus Barebottle taprooms in Walnut Creek and Santa Clara. See all locations.
- Which Joyride locations are open late?
- Market Street is open until 11pm Sunday–Wednesday, midnight Thursday, 2am Friday, and 2:30am Saturday. Valencia Street is open until 11pm Sunday–Wednesday, midnight Thursday, and 2am Friday and Saturday.
- Does Joyride Pizza have locations outside San Francisco?
- Yes — our kitchens inside Barebottle Brewing taprooms in Walnut Creek (East Bay) and Santa Clara (South Bay) serve the same Detroit-style squares with craft beer.
- Where can I get Joyride Pizza with a beer?
- Three places: the Barebottle & Joyride Beer Garden at Salesforce Park, and the Barebottle taprooms in Walnut Creek and Santa Clara — the taprooms also host Tuesday night trivia.
- Is the Union Street location still open?
- No — our Union Street location in Cow Hollow has permanently closed. We hope to see you at one of our other Bay Area locations.

- Can Joyride host my private event?
- Yes. Our Yerba Buena flagship hosts private events and full buyouts for roughly 10 to 400 guests, steps from Moscone Center. Start planning on our private events page.

- That's our specialty — the Yerba Buena flagship at 730 Howard Street is steps from Moscone Center, ideal for conference dinners, receptions, and offsites.
