Joyride Pizza Embarcadero sits inside historic Pier 1 on San Francisco's waterfront, a short stroll from the Ferry Building and its farmers market. It's the Detroit-style pizza stop for the whole Embarcadero: ferry commuters grab squares on the way home, families refuel between the Exploratorium at Pier 15 and waterfront walks, and downtown teams order delivery straight to the office. The airy focaccia-style crust, caramelized frico edge, and marinara striped on top travel as well as they eat in — take a box to a bench on the promenade and watch the boats pass under the Bay Bridge. We open earlier than most pizza spots in the city: Sunday and Monday 10am–8pm, Tuesday through Saturday 10am–9pm, with dine-in, take-out, delivery, catering, and event orders all welcome.
